Some you’ve probably heard of, some maybe not, but all are worthy of being a deemed a good read.

7 Habits of Highly Effective People – Stephen R. Covey
A Classic? Indeed. But Also Timeless.

Whilst the title leads you to believe this book is primarily for your life as an effective business person, what it doesn’t tell you is that it also serves as a guide to living with integrity and how doing so creates fulfillment in life.

The Power of Now – Eckhart Tolle

This book is based in a spiritual journey, but even more than that, it gives insight on how small things make a big difference in the world that you see around you. I appreciate how the focus on taking things a step at a time will get you to where you need to be.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad – Robert Kiyosaki

You wouldn’t necessarily think that I’d have a personal finance driven book on this list. But, if you’re currently working with me, you know that we talk through “Balancing The 7 Main Life Areas” and working toward financial peace definitely plays part.

And let’s be honest, we can all use some solid financial principles to refer to.

Goals!: How to Get Everything You Want – Faster Than You Ever Thought Possible – Brian Tracy

Well, I think the title pretty much says it all. This is a great book for recognizing the importance of goals in your life & how they are the building blocks to where you want to be.

The Gifts of Imperfection: Let Go Of Who You Think You’re Supposed To Be & Embrace Who You Are – Brene Brown

Lots of times, self development books can seem a bit overwhelming and that can make it hard to see how to apply them in your life. This book gives a path to being good with the person you are.
